Animated Pet Card or Static Ecard?
The best greeting format depends on what you want the recipient to notice. A static card keeps the photograph unchanged. An animated card adds movement but introduces generation limits. Neither choice needs to become a large production.
Choose a static card when the original matters most
A favorite photo may already contain the expression you love. If preserving every marking and facial detail is essential, a static layout can be a better fit. Text and a frame can make it feel like a gift without generating movement. This is also useful when you need something immediately and cannot wait for a service to review the image. Paw Birthday is not currently offering a separate static-card product; this is a format comparison, not an additional checkout option.
Consider animation when a little motion adds value
A blink or small head movement can make a portrait feel lively. However, AI may alter eyes, fur or paws. Watch a real example and ask what was tested. The current Paw Birthday demonstration is a cat portrait with gentle motion and a birthday layout. It does not show talking, dancing, sound or cake interactions. A different scene may need a different service and budget.
Think about the recipient
A short silent MP4 can be watched on a phone without sound. A still image may be easier to print or place in a longer message. If the recipient needs larger text, keep the greeting brief and ask for readable sizing. Do not assume the same vertical layout will fit a horizontal screen or a printed invitation. Confirm the required format before making an order.
Compare the full cost and terms
Look beyond a displayed starting price. Check currency, taxes, delivery, included revisions and refund terms. A new photo or different movement can be extra scope. A cheap first version is less useful if the result does not resemble the pet or cannot arrive for the occasion. There is no proven return on investment simply because a greeting uses AI.
Make a low-commitment first decision
Choose your photo, write one short wish and ask whether the service fits the occasion. The Paw Birthday inquiry is free and does not authorize paid generation. The proposed $2.99 pilot is not yet available for purchase. If a static card already solves the need, keep it simple. If you want movement, agree on realistic scope before paying for anything.
